Few days ago, we have posted regarding Mr Yap (M/60) who presented with complaint of decreased vision for far & near vision as well as seeing crooked lines on Amsler Grid with his colour vision affected.
We have received an update about Mr Yap’s condition from the eye specialist clinic, the OasisEye Specialists in which he has seek treatment from a vitreoretinal specialist, Dr Kenneth Fong being his consultant ophthalmologist. Dr Kenneth Fong has diagnosed Mr Yap as having Bilateral Diabetic Macula Edema in which Dr has treated him with eye injection to bring down the swelling/edema. Mr Yap is scheduled to go back for follow up one month later.
