An Entirely Different Eye Shape of Spectacles? Sure!

Umadevi (F/36) came for eye examination to make a new pair of spectacles.

Examination showed:

R: -1.25/-2.00×65 (6/6)

L: -1.00/-3.50×130 (6/6)

Addition: +0.75

There is not much difference between her existing power & new power. Her astigmatism is very high and it prompts us to look for signs & symptoms of keratoconus. Keratoconus is an eye condition whereby the cornea(front part of our eye) progressively bulges into a cone-like shape causing very high astigmatism. Since her astigmatism power does not increase and we did not see any signs of keratoconus and her vision can still achieve optimum 6/6 vision, we will continue to monitor for keratoconus in her subsequent follow-ups.

Uma likes this big roundy frame, to set apart from all her previous pair of glasses. Changing into an entirely new shape to give a refreshing outlook, her new pair of glasses is just in time to venture a new job! Her glasses were always in small frames, but know that you may explore larger & unique frame size & shape now❤️

Pairing with Zeiss Smartlife Digital lenses giving a comfortably clear vision even towards the end of the day, when our eyes have been working hard staring at the computer/digital devices for the whole day.. Digital lenses have power boost at the bottom of lens to help support our eyes to continue pressing forward during this challenging period of time.

Thank you Uma for your trust & support!?
