Ambika came for eye examination, complaining blurry near vision sometimes.
Examination showed:
R: PL/-0.50X85
L: PL/-0.25X90
Complaint of sometimes blurry near vision brought us to think that she might need reading power as she is almost 40s. But, when we tried giving her reading power, she does not see improvement in her vision. We examined further & found that she has dry spot on her cornea (front surface of eye). Our vision can become blurry with dry eye too, when surface of eye is dry, vision will be blurry. When eye is maintained healthily by 3 layers of tears, we see fine. If you see better after you blink your eyes before it becomes blurry again, this indicates dry eye. Dry eye evaluation called “fluorescein staining” will be able to tell whether or not your eyes have dry spots.
Ambika is a teacher, requiring her to be working on her computer most of time. Preparing lesson plans, creating progressive worksheets & exercises to reinforce lessons taught, developing critical thinking components & class activities, daily update of class maintenance and the list goes on. Behind a developing nation, backed by many super teachers.. shouldering the responsibility in nurturing the future generations. A meaningful career.. and teachers have the biggest heart & patience to accommodate & love all their students every day! And behind dedicated teachers, hidden a pair of gleaming, dry eyes?? hoping for more love.. that is no other than their love for artificial tears!? Dry eye needs artificial tears to moist the surface of eyes so that our eyes can work optimally in order for us to work productively!
Thank you to all teachers.. giving your best to all our children, just hoping to see them do well in the future. No teacher would want to see his/her students to be bad/poor when they grow up. No matter how misbehave our children are, at the bottom of teachers’ hearts, they still wish to see our children grow up fine & healthily❤️❤️
Thank you Ambika & sweet hubby for your trust & support!?
