Yung (M/31) came to make a new pair of glasses, he had TB infection in his right eye recently and he just did cataract surgery in the same eye 1month ago. Currently, he is under medication given by his ophthalmologist/eye specialist doctor and is due for follow up in another few weeks.
Own glasses:
R: -3.50
L: -3.50
He has been patching his right eye after cataract surgery as he feels dizzy with the power and he cannot drive with both eyes open.
Examination showed:
R: -1.75/-1.25×175 (6/15-) PHNI
L: -3.50 (6/6)
Seeing double was reported binocularly.
Yung was told that his right eye will not regain clear vision like before due to the eye infection. If scar were formed after the infection, the scar can block our vision hence poorer vision. He did report seeing double and we tried with prism in which he said vision is better. But, we did not prescribe him prism first considering he is still taking medication and is due to go back to his ophthalmologist for follow up soon.
Yung has gotten himself a bold, thick acetate plastic frame of Armani Exchange to have it in clear multicoated lenses at the time being.
Thank you Yung for your trust & support! And speedy recovery to you?
