It has been another month.. entering a month of patriotism. This is a month for us to reflect that our country has come a long way. While a country is made up of atomic units of family.. it is good to take a look at our relationships with our kids, parents, siblings and all in the family.
Im guilty in this very sense. My girls have complained that I did not accompany them much these days. I have put my heart and soul onto 88 Optometry, a career I believe that can feed my family and send my girls to higher education soon, 8 years later to be exact. Having this ultimate goal in mind, I will just have to continue working day and night towards this. Also giving me the energy to pull through every day is the satisfaction and happiness when I know glasses that I prescribed serve my customer friends’ visual needs well, in improving their vision, to have optimised vision freedom they want, leading the lifestyle they desire.
I am an absolute book nerdy loving inspirational/motivational books, indulging in Atomic Habits by James Clear now – deep dived into how, as simple as a habit, can be the turning point in reaching to your purpose(guilty again). Or listening to such songs in which I am into Namewee’s songs recently.. his latest work has been very meaningful and uplifting that I find comfort listening to them. His songs COVID19 MCO Song “OK lah” feat with Malaysian musicians and “Keep Going” are encouragingly motivating too. I admire his determination in pursuing his career wholeheartedly, still doing what he loves doing and work relentlessly, “despite buried in harsh reality”.
I will continue to post update stories on all my customer friends so that you get to know more about your eyes, vision and glasses.. if you are doing fine with my long-winded grandmother style? I know I hibernated quite a while, I have quite a number of pending stories, my daily story update has been lagging.. as it has been slightly overwhelming for me recently.. my girls just started school and I have a new sales assistant to help out in the shop. And it also means a lot of chair time, teaching and sharing sessions with her daily. I’ll be sure to catch up back on my daily story update soonest.
Nevertheless, let’s continue to work hard towards better tomorrows!
