Terrence (M/22) an undergraduate, came in for an eye examination. He has worn his existing glasses for more than 3-4 years, seeing far & near is good, with no complaint. His existing pair of glasses is still fine, lenses have slight scratches only.
Terrence’s power is the same as his existing glasses with all other eye assessments to be normal. Eye health is optimum too. He has shortsighted power of -375 in RE and -325 in LE. His previous pair was of plastic small frame with thick rim, so this thick rim is able to cover the lens thickness. Now, he has opted for big frame & thin metal rim of Korean oppa style. For his power, bigger frame means bigger lens size hence thicker & heavier lens with side of lens more noticeable due to thin rim. We recommend him to go for high index lens for better comfort (lighter lens) and aesthetically more appealing (side of lens won’t be too thick). We will have the price for different index of your chosen lens all listed down for you, and you can choose according to your preference, budget as well as choice of lens meeting your lifestyle needs.
