Hairstylist’s Vision?

Elaine (F/45) came for eye examination, complaining of blurry near vision. She has a pair of reading glasses in which she finds it inconvenient to put on to see near and to remove upon seeing far.

R: +2.00

Examination showed:
R: +0.25 (6/6)
L: +0.50 (6/6)
Addition: +1.25 (N5@40cm)

Being a hairstylist, Elaine’s reading glasses limits her clear vision looking at customer’s hair only. When she wants to look at mirror in front of customer, vision becomes blurry. We may notice reading glasses sit very low on nose so that we can still see far clearly. But sometimes, we just do not want that glasses-sit-low-on-nose look and the inconvenience of pulling your glasses up & down.

Elaine hasn’t worn any glasses before, to be putting on glasses the whole day would need a bit of time to adapt. But, seeing clear vision at all distances & the convenience of 1pair of glasses far outweigh the unwillingness of wearing glasses full time.

Elaine has been wearing her new glasses every day now. Initially, she found her glasses slipping down her nose. I went to her workplace & adjusted her glasses to sit higher on nose and to replace with a cushion nosepad. And she finds it no longer slipping down anymore and cutting my long hair to short hair was a breeze. Sometimes, adjustment is needed to fine-tune to your lifestyle & work requirement. Just let us know and we will have it sorted out for you.

Elaine has styled it up with an oversized rose gold in angular shape of Vis to pair with Hoya Sync III.

Happy to see Elaine’s wearing her glasses comfortably and functionally suitable for her everyday use.

Thank you Elaine for your trust & support!?
